Three-piece shell

iPad, pre-configured

How does this cost so much less than a normal photo booth?
Because nobody drives to your venue. A traditional booth rental is priced around an attendant's hours — the national average runs about $650 for roughly three hours. We ship you the booth, you set it up in ten minutes, and it runs as long as your party does. No hourly rate, no overtime, no second invoice.
When do I actually pay?
$100 when you book, if your event is more than 30 days away — that reserves your date and counts toward your total. The rest is charged to the same card 30 days before the event; if that day is more than a week off, we email you first. Booking closer than 30 days? You pay in full at checkout and there is nothing left to pay later.
Does my venue need a certificate of insurance from you?
No — and this is the answer to give your coordinator. A COI is something venues require of vendors who come on site. Nobody from KnotBooth enters your venue. The booth ships to you and you bring it in yourself, the same as a cake stand or a card box, so there's no vendor to insure.
How hard is setup, honestly?
Ten minutes, one person, no tools. The backdrop stand telescopes up, the three shell pieces slide together — base, printer tower, booth tower, and they only fit one way — then one power cable goes to the wall. The iPad boots straight into your event. There's nothing to log into.
What is the $500 hold, exactly?
Not a charge, and it is also the most you could ever be charged for damage. Two days before your kit ships we place a refundable authorization on your card — the same mechanism a rental car counter uses. It shows as pending, not as money moved (on a debit card it reduces your available balance until it releases), and it releases the moment your return package gets its first carrier scan. We only ever charge for damage beyond normal wear or a return past the window, and we tell you the amount and the reason first.
What if I'm not the one setting it up?
That's normal — it's usually a bridesmaid or the venue coordinator. A printed card in the lid walks whoever's holding it through four steps, and our day-of line is live from the moment the box is delivered until your return is scanned.
