Comparison

How we compare, side by side

Four other companies ship a booth to your door with no attendant. Here is what each one publishes, read off their own pages and dated — including the place where one of them beats us.

What each one charges, and what comes with it

Prices are the ones on their own pages on September 7, 2026. Companies run offers and there are more of them than the four here, so check before you decide — every name below links to the page we read.

A row we lose. Rent My Photo Booth asks for no damage hold at all, where we authorise $500 on the card and release it the moment your return is scanned. Theirs is the kit you can book without a hold on your card at all, and that is worth knowing before you book anyone.

Where the difference actually shows up

At the entry price these kits sit within about a hundred dollars of each other. The gap opens when you want guests to leave holding a photo.

Pixilated does not print at an event at all — their wedding bundle posts 4×6s to you afterwards. Booth By Mail prints at their $419 tier. Rent My Photo Booth prints at $399, and their backdrop is charged on top.

Ours is $359 with 100 prints and the backdrop already in it, or $459 with 400 on the studio printer — the one that takes about eight seconds a strip instead of forty-five. Neither of the two on this page that print at an event publishes a tier that goes past 200.

And all of it sits under a traditional attended booth, which the WeddingWire cost guide puts at $650 for about 3 hours with somebody standing beside it.

What each of them does better

Their pages, their words, our reading of them.

Related businesses that do not rent by mail. TapSnap — A franchise with an attendant, quoted per event rather than priced publicly. Simple Booth — Sells booth hardware to operators; it is not a rental. Photobooth Supply Co — Sells booth hardware to operators; it is not a rental. Smilebooth — Staffed and quoted per event, at the premium end.
